northern and eastern kenyaThis region is very hot and dry. There is not much rainfall in this region and it is mostly desert. In the deserts, the daily temperature can reach as high as 102 degrees Fahrenheit and the average daily temperature across this region is between 86 and 96 degrees Fahrenheit.

coastal beltThis is the region where all of Kenya's beaches are. It is hot and humid, but because of the ocean, there are cool breezes. There are small, specific areas in this region where crops are able to grow. Rainfall is typically over 39 inches like in the Central Highlands and Rift Valley Region. The average daily temperature ranges from 82 degrees Fahrenheit to 88 degrees Fahrenheit.
